The building and rooms are lovely, with king size beds, and the meals are well presented and perfect.

The hotel's position was incredible, right on the harbour. The room I stayed in was bright and brand-new with a great view as well as space in outside garden for relaxing.
There was fruit missing, I was a little disappointed.

The location of The Colonsay Hotel is brilliant, just a short distance from the Cal Mac ferry. The hotel's garden offers lovely views of the harbor and sea. The breakfast included warm house-baked croissants and yogurt, and we enjoyed it with great views. The staff was very polite and welcoming, providing friendly service.

Lovely area, remote location close enough to a late afternoon ferry, fabulous island, and the harbour/seafront. An electric kettle, central heating, and an iron available in the king room.

The hotel is clean and the staff members are excellent and extremely friendly. The room is extremely pleasant and tastefully decorated with a spacious bathroom. The full Scottish breakfast is brilliant. The location is incredible, close to the 7 pm ferry to Oban and the harbour/seafront.

The value for money was exceptional, with reasonable prices for both the rooms and the delicious food. The attention to detail was evident throughout the hotel, from the well-appointed rooms with a great view out to the port, to the separate private bathroom that was equipped with a bath. The breakfast in the morning was a real treat, setting me up for the day of exploring the beautiful surroundings.
All was perfectly fine during my stay, with no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, easily accessible via the midday ferry from Port Askaig on Islay. My room was brand new and impeccably clean, and it had everything I needed including refreshments, reading materials, and a comfortable bed. The service was very welcoming overall.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. Despite its remote location on a small Scottish island, the prices were very reasonable. The hotel staff were very attentive and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The basic amenities in the rooms, including a separate private bathroom, were clean and well-maintained. And let's not forget the wonderful breakfast! The menu offered a delicious variety of options, and I especially enjoyed the beautiful view of the port while dining.
Everything was just fine.
