The hotel's position was incredible, right on the harbour. The room I stayed in was bright and brand-new with a great view as well as space in outside garden for relaxing.

There was fruit missing, I was a little disappointed.

The hotel was in the remote setting on a beautiful island. In general the staff were incredibly nice and affable.

Lovely area, remote location close enough to a late afternoon ferry, fabulous island, and the harbour/seafront. An electric kettle, central heating, and an iron available in the king room.

    cozy atmosphere
    great value

Just a good pick for a weekend adventure in Isle of Colonsay with extraordinarily good value for money. The bar had lots of options, and the atmosphere was cozy by the wood fire. Bring warm clothes for chilly evenings by the fire.

A better welcome experience would have been appreciated!!! The room sizes need clarity since they vary so much!!! More attention to detail in maintenance would improve the overall experience!!!

excellent access to ferry and fine coastal views nearby

I had a lovely stay with comfortable bedding and enjoyed the delicious breakfast pancakes, and it being just a few steps from the ferry made exploring so much easier and more enjoyable.

    ferry disruption

The vibe is relaxed, with friendly locals and great views. Just a short walk from the ferry terminal, the team makes you feel right at home, and lunch was available even last minute.

One small downside was the ferry disruption that we were unaware of initially, but the staff called ahead to keep us informed.

    helpful staff

The king room with a sea view was spacious and offered fine views of the coast. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the ferry and the local shop. I was impressed with how well the chef catered to my gluten-free diet, even better than some mainland hotels. The staff was helpful and friendly.

The King Room with a sea view was fantastic. Super cozy and quiet-definitely seemed like a retreat. The view of the coast was fine, and the decor was really nice. The bathroom was well-equipped too, a plus. No big issues at all, just a solid, comfy stay.

Ideal spot for a quick getaway

The super nice team and the food was just amazing like the fresh lobster they served for dinner.

It wasn't cheap, but for what you get it seemed like a fair deal.
